Leaving the A75, south of Clermont-Ferrand, take the exit n°2 direction Bordeaux – Le Mont-Dore on the D2089.

After approximately 19km leave the D2089 taking a right turn in the direction of La Cassière – Aydat D90, go through La Cassière and at the roundabout take the direction of Aydat.

Follow the lake until arriving at the village of Aydat, pass the church and the Mairie, on the left and follow the road to the village of Vereyras.
Take a left turn at the junction D788 direction Fohet-Saint Nectaire, continue about 500 m and the house is situated in Saint Julien.

NB 1 : The hamlet of Saint Julien is not found on many maps… It is situated between Veyreras and Phialeix.

NB 2 : Some GPS or Internet directions may go via Cournols and Fohet, this is a winding road but very pretty.

The itinerary by the lake is faster and easier.
